It's rainy season again, and every time a storm or a heavy downpour of rains comes a swarm of parents often called the DepEd hotlines and asks "May pasok po ba?".
To save you time and money, here are the DepEd Automatic Suspension Guidelines.
Signal # 1 - No Classes in the Kindergarten
Signal # 2 - No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School
Signal # 3 - No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, High School, and College (including Graduate School)
REMINDER: The Local Government Unit (LGU) has the authority to declare local suspension of classes in areas where there are no storm signal.

No Classes in Marikina, Malabon, Navotas on Wednesday
In a latest announcement by the Department of Education (DEPED), the classes will remain suspended for the following areas in Marikina, Malabon and Navotas.
The suspension of classes is made due to the damage done by Typhoon Pedring.
An announcement shall also be made by DEPED in the early morning of Wednesday if the classes in Metro Manila shall be suspended or not.

No Classes On Friday From Pre-School To High School
The Department of Education has ordered the suspension of classes from pre- to high school levels in the National Capital Region on Friday, an official of the Department of Education for the National Capital Region said late Thursday.
DepEd NCR Director Elena Ruiz made this announcement over radio dzBB.
There is still no announcement on the suspension of classes in College levels from the Commission on Higher Education.
As of 4:00 PM Thursday, Tropical Storm “Falcon” was estimated 420 KM East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.4°N, 126.5°E), according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysial Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) bulletin.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 75 KPH near the center
GUSTINESS: up to 90 KPH
MOVEMENT: Northwest
SPEED: 15 KPH
Public Storm Warning Signal # 1 has been raised over Quezon, Aurora, Albay, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Isabela, Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands and Batanes Group of Islands.
