DepEd Automatic Suspension of Classes Guidelines 2016

It's rainy season again, and every time a storm or a heavy downpour of rains comes a swarm of parents often called the DepEd hotlines and asks "May pasok po ba?".

To save you time and money, here are the DepEd Automatic Suspension Guidelines.



Signal # 1 - No Classes in the Kindergarten
Signal # 2 - No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School
Signal # 3 - No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, High School, and College (including Graduate School)

REMINDER:  The Local Government Unit (LGU) has the authority to declare local suspension of classes in areas where there are no storm signal.

DepEd Guidelines For Suspension Of Classes

Here is the Department of Education guidelines for the suspension of classes.


Signal #1 No Classes in Kindergarten

Signal #2 No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School

Signal #3 No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, High School, and College (including Graduate School)

Please take note that the local government unit (LGU) has the authority to declare local suspensions in areas where there is no storm signal.
