Malacañang on Monday clarified reports that President Benigno Aquino III was studying an “alternative truth” as regards the January 27 Mamasapano encounter in light of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front’s (MILF) revelation that the police operation’s target, terrorist Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan, was killed by an aide.
