Description


The basic purpose of the Desktop Services Technician is to provide direct technical support to computer system users; Answer complex and difficult to resolve computer problems for clients; Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, VPN connectivity, electronic mail and operating systems. Including desk side support and training for end users.

Qualifications

  •     6 years in PC hardware/software installation and support
  •     Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC hardware and desktop application products.
  •     The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  •     Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a desktop platform.
  •     Strong customer service communication skills.
  •     Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail.
  •     Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
  •     Candidates must be ready to work in rotational shifts providing 24/5 support
