Miriam wants shorter wait for missing disaster victims’ kin to claim benefit

To ease the grief of relatives of a person missing in a natural disaster, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago has proposed to reduce from four years to two the length of time they need to wait before they can collect death benefits.
