PHL formally asks US govt for Pemberton’s custody

The Philippine government has formally asked the US Embassy in Manila for custody over Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton, who is charged with murder for allegedly killing Filipina transgender Jeffrey "Jennifer" Laude.
