Filipinos travelling for the Holy Week will have something to smile about today, after the oil firm Chevron announced that it will slash pump prices of its petroleum products starting 12:00PM today.
Chevron said they will implement a rollback on the prices of its gasoline products by 60 centavos per liter, diesel by 25 centavos per liter and kerosene by 40 centavos.
The company said the price adjustment reflects the latest movement of oil prices in the world market.
The rollback came a day after Chevron and other oil companies, Shell and total, increased the prices of regular gasoline by 70 centavos per liter, unleaded gasoline by 60 centavos per liter, diesel by 25 centavos per liter and kerosene by 40 centavos per liter.
Other oil companies are expected to implement a similar roll back of pump prices.
