Philippine National Police chief Director General Ricardo Marquez assured the families of the 44 Special Action Force (SAF) officers killed in the bloody January 25 Mamasapano clash that due recognition is ahead for them, after they were reportedly removed from the list of awardees for the police service anniversary last week, a TV report said Monday.
