Do you love WordPress? Are you a Ninja coder and want to be a part of a highly skilled and trained team of lethal WordPress coders? We service hundreds of of clients all over the world designing, building, and supporting a rapidly growing number of WordPress websites. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of WordPress experience and has an understanding of Genesis platform.

You must be capable of working well with our other developers and designers. If you have any secret ninja skills, like the ability to fix a hacked site in the blink of an eye, eat a whole pizza by yourself, or have superior ninja sword skills, we want to know.

In this position you will be working with already-built WordPress sites, helping our clients make updates, add new items, and help fix broken or hacked websites.

Desired Coding Skills

Extensive knowledge of modifying existing theme templates (support, extend and/or enhance existing code).

Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery.

Server Side Technologies: PHP, all others a plus.

Knowledge in WordPress Site Migration (knowledge of domain registration, DNS settings & management, MX Records, and setting up and maintaining WordPress servers).

Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and emerging technologies.

Desired WordPress Skills

Extensive knowledge of the Genesis framework.

Ability to modify and customize plugins, and create new plugins, as necessary.

Aware of WordPress security pitfalls and follow best practices to ensure tight security.

Knowledge and experience with WooCommerce.

Desired Customer Service Skill

Excellent ability to speak and write English.

Ability to handle large numbers of tasks quickly and with good quality.

Ability to see potential issues and suggest better options (coding, plugins, functions, etc) to the customer.

Ability to communicate updates clearly.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to follow directions from Senior Programmers.
