Suspended exec blames Customs office for not issuing alert vs. shipment

Suspended Bureau of Customs risk management chief on Wednesday said that the P6.5-billion shabu shipment from China last May could have been prevented had the BOC's Import Assessment Services (IAS) granted his request for an 'alert order.'
