DFA: China not pressing sovereignty as condition to have bilateral talks with PHL

The Department of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday said China has not asserted its sovereignty over the South China Sea as a condition to have a bilateral consultation mechanism with the Philippines over disputed territories.
