Former Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) general manager Al Vitangcol has questioned the basis and timing of the new graft cases filed against him over his alleged attempt to extort $30 million from executives of the Czech railcar supplier Inekon Group, saying the charges were only made up by the Office of the Ombudsman.
