Arbitral tribunal allows interested states to observe hearings on West PHL Sea claims

The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands, which started hearing the first round of oral arguments in the case the Philippines filed against China over claims on the West Philippine Sea, said in a news release dated November 24 that delegations from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam would be allowed to observe the hearings.
