Despite strong clamor from his supporters, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Friday afternoon maintained that he is not interested in running for president. Minutes before the 5 p.m. deadline for the filing of certificates of candidacy, he issued the following statement to dispel rumors that he is on his way to Manila for a last-minute filing of his COC for president.
