Solons fear return to ‘dark ages’ if SC fails to resolve Comelec-Smartmatic issue

After two automated elections, will the Philippines go back to the “dark ages”? The certainty of holding automated elections next year has been put in peril after the Supreme Court temporarily stopped the Commission on Elections from getting the services of Smartmatic-TIM for the repair and refurbishing of vote-counting machines to be used in the 2016 elections, lawmakers said.
