Miriam to govt, MILF: Scrap Bangsamoro law, renegotiate peace deal

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago on Thursday urged the government to scrap the Bangsamoro Basic Law and start negotiations all over again to correct the flaws in the present proposal. The senator questioned the authority of the panels of both the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front in negotiating the creation of what she believed was a Bangsamoro substate.
