AFP chief wants independent body to study lapses in Mamasapano operation

Armed Forces chief Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr on Monday proposed the creation of an independent body composed of military and police officials to investigate lapses in the Mamasapano operation, where 44 Special Action Force commandos were killed last month.
