Actress Rhian Ramos has admitted having a mutual understanding with DJ-host Mo Twister.
“I would think so… Yeah, I guess,” she told PEP when asked about it. Rating the state of her relationship with Mo, Rhian pegged it at 60 in a scale of 100.
“I don’t know, I don’t know… kasi ano e, parang marami ka talagang mga bagay na hindi makikita until siguro after a long period of time,” she said. “Parang I want to be sure naman na pag nagka-boyfriend ako at least sure ako about it. Na pag sinabi kong kunwari 'I love you!' o kunwari 'I love you, too!' sure ako, yung hindi sasabihin ko na lang kasi para masabi lang, parang ganu'n.”
This line of questioning followed a discussion on her going topless for her role in “My Valentine Girls.”
At a press conference for the movie, Rhian simply said that while she did go topless, she only showed her back.
She did, however, claim having her front part covered, noting, “Nakakahiya naman, makikita ni Richard [Gutierrez]...” And while she considers the actor almost like a brother, she did say they hadn’t seen each other in a while and showing up naked isn’t how she’d want to greet him after all this time.
She did say she covered her privates with a small folded towel and taped it on her with Leukoplast.
But in sharing a kissing scene with the actor, with whom she shared her first on-screen kiss on GMA’s “Captain Barbell,” Rhian said, “Parang nahiya ako ulit kasi parang... after all these years naman parang natanggal na ‘yung hiya ko kay Chard, ‘di ba? Kasi nung medyo bagets pa ako tinitingnan niya pa lang ako parang... parang nahihiya na ako sa kanya.”
She pointed out, “Kasi… very intimate naman kasi talaga humalik ng ibang tao, ‘di ba? Tapos lalung-lalo na hindi ko naman alam kung ano ang relationship status niya ngayon tapos, parang ganun.”
However, Rhian said she didn’t feel any need to worry about kissing Richard when it comes to Mo. “Kasi trabaho ko ito,” she insisted, saying she did not ask for Mo’s permission to do so.
When asked if Mo has already imposed his dos and don’ts on her, she said, “I think naman when it comes to my job dapat ako nagdedesisyon nun.” Noting that even when it came to her mom she had to explain to her and make her accept that doing such things is part of her job as an actress, she added, “Parang pagdating sa work ko, gusto ko ako talaga ‘yung nagdedesisyon.”
As to further developments in her budding relationship with Mo, Rhian simply said, “Patience, tingnan natin.”
